Villa B expresses a composition of earth materials and textures complimented by blank and transparent planes. This modern three-bedroom villa sits on a corner plot of land bounded by two streets.
On the first floor the private zone accomodates the three bedrooms with the master suite cantilevered over the two parking spaces beneath. On the southern end, the house opens up to the quiet street with bedrooms enjoying a view of the lush greenery across the street.
Elements of natural stone, wood, amber light fixtures and textured hues of tan gives off a warm character to the building.
The building has been split into two zones; semi-public and private zones. Upon entry into the space on the ground floor, a welcoming atmosphere is established through the double volume living area which opens up to the dining area and kitchen.
The western façade of the house has been designed with a blank 'canvas', hence cutting off the heat implications of the western sun.
The choice of earthy materials on the façade of the building compliments the surrounding landscape and hence gives the building a natural feel.
